In this necklace set by Melanie, you have an all-new gang of chains. Revisiting the "layered chain look" that inspired the original Chain Gang necklace set, this trio of decorative chains can be worn together or each separately. This newest collection of chains is a sequel that takes on a bolder character.

The Longest Chain

The longest chain is a series of hexagons stitched to a length long enough to slip-on around the neck and terminates into a three-dimensional Matchbox tassel. This tassel is embellished with scrollwork and faceted elongated beads dangling as fringe which are attached inside the finial. There is a square stone bezel as well topping off the tassel and a nice transition to the necklace strap. Worn by itself this main chain with the tassel is elegant and can work with any part of your wardrobe selection.

The Middle Chain

The middle length chain marries tubular peyote and chevron chain to create a repeated pattern decorated with laser cut disks for sparkly ornamentation.

The Shortest Chain

The shortest chain is a bejeweled tube and terminates with end caps and a clasp featuring a faceted square stone with ornamental ties.

3 in 1 Design

One of the great features about beading this gang of chains is that you have a number of different projects to bead in one kit. You can experience 3 in one as you go through each of the chains. The other great feature of course is that you can wear them as you finish! What greater joy than being able to wear something from a design as you are finishing the whole set! Wear it as you finish!

The instructions are one of Melanie's finest fully illustrated color directions. She takes you through each step of making the chains. You will get some unusual beads in the kit as well that were lovingly hunted down for you by Melanie in to make this design.
